My name is Denise Young and I love teaching the fifth grade.  I have been involved with GCA for 13 years.  I started out as a parent volunteer when my son began kindergarten and have also been a resource teacher as well as a substitute teacher.  This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade.  I have a B.S. degree from Western Kentucky University in Elementary Eduction.  I have been married to my husband Jeff for 22 years and we have two sons.  Caleb is a senior and Ethan is a freshman.  They have both attended GCA their entire school career.

I enjoy teaching fifth grade.  I enjoy teaching the kids and also learning  from the kids.  We are very blessed to be able to learn in an environment where God is welcome and a vital part of our day.
